I was terribly lucky to find a complete, functional Nerf Vulcan at the Seattle Goodwill, and knew that it needed more "steam". What you see is 4-ish afternoons of work, and hand-painting the foregrip and guards in my hotel room at Steam Con (accursed procrastination!).
Although I received compliments on Sasha, and many young steampunks recognized the model, she is still a work in progress. Mayhaps she'll make an appearance at next year's Con, with tripod...
I want to find a couple exhaust tubes from RC trucks, and add more impressive sightposts, and add more accent color, but do you have any suggestions?
